How to register as an institution

1. Open www.alteumx.com and at the top right, select Sign up.

2. Enter your Email and set a Password (Your password must contain at least 8 characters, including one uppercase letter and one number).

3. After reading carefully and accepting the Terms of Use, click on Create Account.

4. Select account type "Register as an institution"

4. Enter the Full legal Entity's name, the Main city/country of operating activity on AlteumX (the main city/country from where you'll be operating), and select the Country of Entity's jurisdiction. 

5. Enter the Full Entity's address (Zip code, street address and number, city, and state)

5. Enter Entity's Taxpayer Identification Number

6. Describe your business

EX: products and services offered by the firm, types of customers it serves, entity's website, etc. 

7. Select the Source of the entity's assets

8. Upload Entity formation documents

NOTE: Accepted documents:  certificate of formation, articles of incorporation, certificate of organization, or equivalent documents 
For Mexican companies: Acta constitutiva and company extract, from the Acta constitutiva, of the entity's shareholders structure. 

9. Upload operating agreements or articles of association

NOTE: Accepted documents: certificate of formation, certificate of organization, certificate of incumbency, third party letter signed by fund admin, AML agreement.

10. Upload a Bank Statement of the Entity (Proof of funds)

NOTE: Less than 90 days old. Must match the name of the Entity

11. Upload a Proof of address of the Entity

NOTE: Accepted documents as proof of address: utility bill less than 90 days old. Must match the name of the Entity.

12. Enter the list of  all executive officers and directors

NOTE: "Person 1" - CEO, "Person 2" - CFO, "Person 3" - director

13. Enter the list of all individuals and entities who, directly or indirectly, beneficially own or control 10% or more of the equity interests of the company

NOTE: "Person 1" - 10%, "Person 2" - 25%, "Person 3" - 15%

14. Introduce the name, position, date of birth, and personal Tax ID of executive officers, directors, and/or beneficial owners. Also, please upload a photo of the person's government ID (passport only) and proof of address(a utility bill or bank statement less than 90 days old. Must match the name of the person).

You can introduce the requested information to up to 4 people. To add more, please click on "Add more".

15. Click on "Submit information"

NOTE: Once you click on submit information, your account will be created, but, you won't be able to deposit/withdraw until your account is verified. More information may be requested during the verification process. We will let you know via email, once your account is verified.
